On Wednesday, 11th February, the Aurelia Training General Manager Claire Hanley, had the pleasure of attending the Construction Careers Speed Networking Event in Bury St Edmunds.
This event brought together local employers, the CITB, the Department of Work & Pensions, Eastern Education Group, and West Suffolk Council. Our goal? To provide direct support to individuals looking to break into the construction sector. These events are vital for addressing labor shortages and providing young people with tangible routes into employment.
As a training provider, we are proud to offer the tools needed to strengthen our future workforce. We’ve already begun collaborating on ideas for a follow-up event later this year. I am incredibly excited to continue building these partnerships and supporting our community’s employability.
