The Association of Lorry Loader Manufacturers and Importers
The aim of ALLMI Training is to raise the standards of lorry loader operators by improving their knowledge and competence within this specialist area. The programme is supported by the leading manufacturers and importers.
Key Aspects of the ALLMI Certificate:
- Purpose: It ensures, through training and assessment, that operators can use loader cranes safely, complying with legal requirements.
- Validity: Valid for five years, after which refresher training is required.
- Components: Recipients receive an ID card, a certificate, and are registered on the ALLMI database.
- Recognition: The certificate is widely recognized, approved by Build UK, and often features the CSCS logo if the candidate holds and in-date CITB Health Safety and Environment Test.
Aurelia has Hook and Brick Grab attachments on site but are also able to complete training using a Clamshell Bucket or Auger. Candidates are required to either bring their own lorry to the Aurelia site, or training can be carried on a client’s premises assuming that site requirements can be met.
