Whether it’s the training requirements of their team or the sub-contractor partners who support them across their broad range of projects, Regent Construction is now is now in its sixth year of working with Aurelia as its operator training partner.
Regent Construction’s projects cover new build, fit out and refurbishment developments, spanning a broad sector range within the residential and commercial sectors. With around fifty employees, Jess Sheldon has responsibility for making sure all regulatory, compliance, and site related training is completed and maintained. With Aurelia based just a few miles away from their Cambridge head office, the working relationship between the two businesses continues to grow.

The training Aurelia provides for Regent Construction covers candidates who possess varying levels of experience in the construction industry. “The feedback we get is always so positive,” continues Jess. “The trainers are really good at feeding back to us. Sometimes that may mean they recommend some additional support or other courses to help with their development and skills, and that is always useful for us to know.”
As well as the broad range of courses Aurelia delivers, which include plant training, SMSTS, and SSSTS, Jess feels it is the support and after-care of the team that sets Aurelia apart from other providers she has worked with. “They are quick to respond to questions I may have about things like CSCS and CITB and are just always wanting to help. We have had situations where training has needed to be moved or rescheduled and they make this happen effortlessly.”
